Patrick sent his children to SCUSD schools. He has been involved in the city and district committees. He understands that this is a crucial time with the budget crisis and the new board will have to hire a superintendent. He is an attorney representing unions so he clearly understands their value. He believes that there has to be communication around issues before making important decisions. Patrick has been on the district's policy committee and believes policies make the district strong.
