At the February 19^th regular meeting of the SCUSD Board of Education, a vision for Parent Engagement,  long championed by Board President Roy Grimes and Board members Bell and Houseman was  joined by the voices of New Board Members, Rodriquez, Arroyo, Kennedy and Terry. Following an extensive  presentation by staff of the myriad of programs and services provided to students, parents and the community a civil discussion was enjoined.  Below you will find excerpts from this meeting. An important commitment was made to increase collaboration with all members of our learning community.
